Aura is a personal assistant that runs on its owner's own Mac. It is used by its owner only. This policy describes what Aura does with data from Google.
With the owner's permission, Aura reads the owner's own Gmail through the Gmail API with the read-only scope
(gmail.readonly): messages, their headers and attachments. It reads no other Google data.
Only to help the owner with his own mail, on his own Mac: searching his mail, showing which messages he still owes a reply, reminding him of them, and preparing drafts that he reviews and sends himself. Aura never sends, deletes, archives, labels or changes any mail.
Everything Aura reads, and the login keys it uses, are stored only on the owner's Mac. Aura has no server and no cloud storage. Aura never sends Gmail data to any other service, including cloud AI services.
Gmail data is not shared with, sold to or transferred to anyone. It is not used for advertising, and it is not used to develop, improve or train any AI or machine-learning model. Aura shows it to no one but the owner.
Aura's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
The owner can remove Aura's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and delete the data Aura keeps by removing it from his Mac.
